  April Fool's Day

April Fool's Day, also called All Fools' Day, is celebrated on April 1st in many countries. It is a day full of jokes, tricks, and laughter. Unlike Christmas or Easter, it is not a religious festival, but a fun tradition that has lasted for centuries.

On this day, people play harmless pranks on their friends, family, or classmates. For example, a child may tell his mother, "Mom, your shoe is on fire!" or a teacher may say, "Today we have no class—just kidding!" The rule is simple: if someone believes the trick, they are called an "April Fool."

Many TV stations and newspapers also join the fun. They may report fake news, like "Scientists find a rainbow lake!" just to see how many people believe it.

I like April Fool's Day because it reminds us not to take everything too seriously. A good laugh with friends makes life brighter. But we must remember: the best joke is the one that makes everyone smile, not cry.
